     Hi all, it's me again!!!

We decided to join a ride with some of the members of the SCRC one sat. afternoon. The trip started out to Foley Ala., but being that men can't make up their minds, we ended up in Gulfshores Ala.!!!

Was a small group of six, and for once I wasn't the only girl!!! We met at the Stop and Go (or something like that), is next to Denny's, where people drop their cars off and catch rides with others to work and all. Carpooling! Ya know how gas prices are these days.

We sat around talked a lil, then headed out. We went the interstate to a certain point then down old 90. And believe me, I thought our whole day was about to be shot. Some dude, *drunk* pulled out in front of Bear. Just pulled out, never even looked to see a group of bikes or other cars, just pulled out.  People, those of you that don't ride, please just watch where you're going. Always look!!!! So what began as a near disaster for us, didn't happen, due to the quick reflexes of EVERYONE on the bikes. But man, this dude not only pulled out in front of us, he weaved through traffic pulling over in front of cars as well. I was very happy to get OFF the interstate.

We headed down old 90. Having stopped in Irvington or close to there, for us to get off and walk. I mean men may have *buns* of steel, but I do not!, and I know the young lady that was with us, didn't either!! But we chatted and got to know each other a bit more *I am sooo bad with names sooooo I can't remember everyone's name*. Then headed on some more, though we did have to get back on the interstate to go through the Mobile Tunnel. Now that was a new experience for me on a bike. Can hear EVERYTHING echoing.

Then from there back to old 90, and onward. We were gonna stop in Foley, eat and head back, but because Bat couldn't remember where Fire mountain was, we kept going and ended up in Gulfshores. Just a few miles from where we were originally gonna stop. We found a lovely place, The Original Oyster House, http://www.originaloysterhouse.com/. It was awesome! I had the shrimp platter!! Have to say that was some of the best. And OMG, we are sitting there waiting on our food, and we look out on the water, and see this lady bicycling! Yes, I said bicycling on the water. We were like, OMG how is she doing this? When she went around the bend, we saw that she had those little pontoon things attached and the way she was moving was like she was riding a bicycle on the water. 'Course that tickled us, and am telling you we had the best time!!!

We shopped a bit, then of course got back on the bikes and headed back. We stopped a few extra times, the sun having gotten to me, and of course our behinds were a tad numb!! We stopped at The Leather Hut, http://www.leatherhutonline.com/ , one of the best watering holes a person can stop in!! Free water to the bikers, as well as bathrooms!! And of course we shopped some more! They are just totally awesome there, Great family. Be sure you all stop in next time you're in Alabama. They'd love to have you.

So We finished Our ride, and headed Home, It was a great time, with great friends!

Till next time!!! Be well And Ride Safe!!!!
